- SMC1585KS CHILD-RESISTANT DOOR LOCK — The Child-Resistant Door Lock requires a user to press "0/Unlock" before opening the microwave door after cooking has been initiated. This feature can be easily enabled or disabled to meet your needs. Learn more on how to disable/enable this feature in your operation manual.
- SMC1585KS EASY-TO-USE PRESET BUTTONS — Utilize Low Mix or High Mix to incorporate both convection heat and microwave cooking.
- ADA COMPLIANT HOME APPLIANCES — The Americans with Disabilities Act establishes accessibility guidelines for many products. Sharp offers an array of appliances that can be integrated into an ADA compliant kitchen. A touch-control microwave oven placed at counter height provides cooking access for people of various ages and physical abilities.
- ADA COMPLIANT MICROWAVE OVENS. — Maximum high forward reach for controls and operating mechanisms is 48"; maximum low forward reach is 20". Controls and operating mechanisms must be operable with one hand and shall not require tight grasping, pinching or twisting of the wrist. The force required to activate controls shall be no more than 5 lbs.
