The Orbital Wash System, a feature of 24" SMEG dishwashers, consists of a double spray arm with contra-action rotation which distributes water evenly throughout the cavity. This ensures excellent wash quality, and a greatly-reduced noise level.

This comprises two independent sliding, pull-out tray racks for easier loading/unloading of cutlery. Various loading systems and configurations are possible. For example, tea cups can be loaded with the right-hand rack set in the low position, while the left-hand rack or both can be removed to allow large dishes to be put in the top basket.
