DishDrawer™

Double DishDrawer™. You might ask yourself... what's the point? Well, be prepared to find out that it is not just a gimmick.
Imagine if you will that you are a couple living in the big city. Typically your late night commutes equate to take-out or a quick run through the drive through. However, occasionally you decide to throw together a quick pasta dinner for two. Not enough dishes to run a full wash.. but just enough to run a DishDrawer™with a couple of plates, pots and glasses.
Then, on the weekend... you throw together that glittering dinner party with a few other couples offer to take part in an elaborate course of meals, an exquisite desert and quite a few glasses of Merlot. The end result: a fabulous time that is beyond memorable - mixed in with a housekeeping hangover of dirty plates, pots and cutlery.
Enter the DishDrawer™. The Double DishDrawer™ offers flexibility and opportunities for space and energy savings.
Double dishwasher drawers fit in a standard dishwasher opening. Each operate independently of each other but when used simultaneously, they offer the same capacity as a typical 24-inch dishwasher. DishDrawer™ Dishwashers by Fisher Paykel are as easy to open and close as kitchen drawers and can be conveniently positioned at bench height for ease of loading and minimal bending. Flexible racking allows you to make adjustments to fit in a variety of dishes... a huge improvement over these drawers in the past where space limitations posed an issue.
With the ability to use both drawers independently and select different wash programs the DishDrawer™ Dishwasher can wash everything from fine glass and crystal to heavily soiled pots and pans. Water consumption (per drawer) is considerably less than a regular dishwasher, as is overall energy consumption. Each unit can also run a different cycle, so you can clean wine glasses on a delicate, short cycle and dinner plates on a powerful, longer cycle.
Many of the latest models offer tall drawers and flexible racking. The new models also have a greater overall interior capacity, thanks to thinner insulation and other engineering advances, which have allowed a pair of drawers to hold the equivalent of a standard dishwasher.
Short on space? A Tall Double DishDrawer™ is comprised of a standard-sized bottom drawer and a Tall (18”) top drawer, and has a standard installation height. This technology avoids the space demands of a traditional dishwasher door that tend to block entrance ways and walk through space in the kitchen.
Worried about the noise level? After all, you are still nursing that housekeeping hangover ;)
Running at a very low decibel rating, these DishDrawer™ Dishwashers do their job without making a fuss. The combination of intelligent technology and simple mechanics means greater reliability and excellent wash performance.
